You’re going to be learning tons at the SC Speech and Hearing Association conference this February! But let’s face it … you may be ready to enjoy all Greenville has to offer at night.

Don’t worry. Your friends at MTSKids have got you covered. We’re sharing columns and social media tips for how you can make sure you’re having a blast while you’re visiting Greenville, S.C.

This week: Places to grab an adult beverage with all the new friends you’re going to be making! And these aren’t just run-of-the-mill bars … we’re recommending five places that make for unique, memorable experiences.

Thomas Creek Brewery

The name has become a staple of bars across the Southeast, and it’s brewed right here in Greenville! Taste, tour and have fun at the Thomas Creek Brewery. See where it’s all made, visit the taproom and pick up some home brewing supplies, if you’re feeling creative. Google Map.

Fireforge Crafted Beer

Located in downtown Greenville, Fireforge Crafted Beer is a small-batch brewery and tasting room with 15 house-brewed beers, regionally made ciders and snacks you can order. The beer is delicious, the sofas are soft and the location is prime. Ever tried mead? Google Map

Yee-Haw Brewing Co.

It’s fun to say and even more fun to drink. The Yee-Haw Brewing Co. offers a line of ales and lagers, along with a World Beer Cup-award-winning Dunkel. They offer wine, dining and games as well, all in a convenient downtown location. Google Map.

Liability Brewing Co.

They’re a little confused about whether it all started on the porch or in the garage, but you won’t be confused by the delicious beers they offer at Liability Brewing Co. With beers like “A Short Rest” and “Have You Tried Turning It Off and On Again?” you’ll enjoy every minute. They don’t have food, but there’s a barbecue restaurant next door. Google Map

SIP Whiskey and Wine

The rooftop bar SIP Whiskey and Wine is close to the convention and offers a delicious selection of wines, whiskey and more. Happy Hour from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. and an environment ideal for relaxing and spending time with your new friends. Live music on the weekends starting at 8 p.m. Google Map
