Welcome to Greenville! It’s time to get started at the S.C. Speech and Hearing Association’s annual conference! We at McCulloh Therapeutic Solutions hope you learn lots and have some fun in our fair city as well.
Right off the bat, you may have some questions about the place where it’s all happening: the Hyatt Regency Greenville.
Because the Hyatt has gone through a renovation over the past few years, locals and visitors alike may be unfamiliar with the hotel and conference center. Upon entering, the hotel appears to be a maze … but rest assured, most of the events for the speech and hearing conference should be located within the first two floors.
Arriving at Hyatt
Although the Hyatt’s street address is 220 Main Street in Greenville, SC, the valet parking and main entrance to collect your hotel key is located off of Beattie Place. If entering Greenville from 385 North, pay attention as you approach the hotel. You’ll need to make a left before Main Street to enter the hotel parking and valet area.
If not staying the night, save these parking locations in your GPS as you approach the hotel. If you drive passed the hotel, you will have to turn around in order to find parking.
Important details
After registering, stop by the ballroom first. It is located in the back of the first floor behind the reception desks. Say ‘Hi’ to your friends at McCulloh Therapeutic Solutions and then take a tour to meet other vendors.
Comfortable spaces surround the lobby, giving you and your team couches, chairs and gathering spots to relax and unwind during or after the conference day. Computers hosting Wi-Fi are located throughout the lobby. In Max’s library, there are four computers free to use for conference goers.
Restrooms for non-guests are located on the first and second floor near the elevator.
Directly outside the hotel’s Main Street entrance is Noma Square. Noma Square features several outdoor tables with lime green chairs available for anyone to catch their breath. Starbucks, Kilwins Ice Cream and a Oil and Vinegar shop are close-by to enjoy in between courses. Check out Roost in the evening – tourists and locals visit Roost nightly!
Spending the night?
Because the Hyatt was recently renovated, you’ll enjoy a nice stay. Many amenities may be accessed from reception if not initially present in your room, (i.e. refrigerator). For other specific questions call the Hyatt at before your arrival.
Unfortunately, the hotel does not include breakfast with an overnight stay. There is a Starbucks on the second floor of the hotel. Plan ahead!
The Hyatt hosts several state and regional events throughout the year, but remains a cozy place for great conversation, learning and opportunities to relax with new and old friends.
