Dinner! Delicious ways to end your day at SCSHA 2019

You will be learning tons at the SC Speech and Hearing Association conference this February! After a long day, grab your team and friends and explore all Greenville has to offer.

Not sure where to start? Don’t worry. Your friends at MTSKids have got you covered. We’re going to be sharing columns and social media tips for how you can make sure you’re having a blast while you’re visiting Greenville, S.C.

This week: Dining options for dinner time. There are local spots off Main Street to try, but some of the best places are a little drive away. Many take reservations, making it easy to dine with your entire team.

Sidewall Pizza Company

With locations in downtown Greenville, Travelers Rest and off Pelham Road, this fantastic local fare will suit your all of your friends. The seasonal salads cannot be beat and the breadsticks are large enough to share (or not). Split a pizza or two, but definitely save room for dessert – Sidewall offers homemade ice cream with flavors changing daily. Follow on instagram (@sidewallpizza) and check out menu, here. This restaurant does not take reservations, but is worth the wait. Bar is first-come, first-serve, so take a seat and enjoy the rest. Google Map

Tupelo Honey Cafe

Although not local to Greenville, Tupelo Honey strives to use local ingredients in all of their dishes. Biscuits, honey and blueberry jam served as a starter upon ordering. Dishes ranging from fried chicken to salmon to sweet potato pancakes and fried green tomato sandwiches, this charming restaurant will serve as a great backdrop to unwind with your team. Have a large group? Make a reservation, here. Looking for lunch instead? Check out their $12 for 3 option and online ordering options, here. Google Map

Roost

Located in the Hyatt Hotel, Roost’s soil-to-city philosophy produces the most delectable southern dishes favored by hotel visitors and locals alike. You can’t beat the convenience and quality. Reserve a table here and don’t miss happy hour from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. Looking for lunch?  Roost’s harvest table lunch buffet, running Mondays through Fridays from 11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m., features a fresh salad bar, daily soup selections and focaccia pizzas. The Lazy Goat

You can’t go wrong with a Table 301 restaurant, but The Lazy Goat is our number one pick. Located a mile down Main Street from the Hyatt, offering valet parking, this restaurant faces the Reedy River offering a peaceful landscape to celebrate the day. With a menu ranging from pizza to paella, the flavors of all the food will be enjoyed by all your friends. Make a reservation to avoid the crowds here. Google Map

Grill Marks

Looking for a good burger and fries? Look no further. A short walk from the conference, right off Main Street, Grill Marks has mastered the meat. Want to shop? Visit their Haywood Mall location. Enjoy a trio of truffle fries and a variety of burgers. Save room for a milkshake – with extra spirits or without! Online ordering and reservation details found here.
