This week: Parking need to knows! Because you have to find a space before you can take your seat at SCSHA.
Hyatt Hotel Parking Garage
The conference is located at this hotel and valet parking is available to all conference attendees at $21.20 per night. This may seem a bit steep, but convenience is often worth the price.
Commons Garage
Located NEXT door to the conference, with a covered walking path directly to the Hyatt hotel, this parking garage charges a maximum of $7.50 a day (first hour free and second hour $1.50). This garage is located at 60 Beattie Place, Greenville, S.C., behind the Hyatt Hotel. You will see it on your left as you are entering downtown from I-385. Google Map.
Liberty Square Garage
Across the street from Commons Garage, but possibly easier to access when entering downtown Greenville from I-385, the Liberty Square Garage also charges a maximum of $7.50 a day (first hour free and second hour $1.50). The address for this lot is 65 Beattie Place, Greenville, S.C. If it isn’t raining or snowing, you will enjoy a brisk walk across the street to the Hyatt hotel. Google Map.
Richardson Street Garage
Down the street from the Hyatt, but conveniently located near Tupelo Honey, Anthropologie, Caviar & Bananas and Cantina 76, the Richardson Street Garage is located at 66 Richardson Street, Greenville, S.C. This garage also charges a maximum of $7.50 a day (first hour free and second hour $1.50). If you are planning to venture to a restaurant or SIP rooftop bar after the conference, this is a favored lot. Planning to stay through the weekend? The Richardson Street Garage is FREE Friday night through Sunday night every weekend. Google Map.
Street Parking
Not wanting to spend a dime more? One of the BEST things about downtown Greenville is free street parking. It is limited for two hours and may be difficult to find a spot close to the conference, but if you leave for lunch and want to venture to the West End of towards Travelers Rest, you will find free parking near many shops and restaurants.
