Learning tons at the SC Speech and Hearing Association conference, but feeling a little lost!

Don’t worry. Your friends at MTSKids have got you covered. We’re sharing columns and social media tips for how you can make sure you’re having a blast while you’re visiting Greenville, S.C.

This week: Cool places you’re going to want to hang out while at the conference!

Check out this nationally recognized local bookstore! They’ve got lots of great reads, and you can pick up a cool reminder of your visit to Greenville. Check out the website or this Google Map.

Joe’s Place Books

Books, coffee, wine and more. If you’re looking for a place to “sit, sip, read” after a long day at the conference, Joe’s Place is perfect for you! Check out the website or this Google Map.

Falls Park

In the heart of town is a delightful place to enjoy nature! Falls Park is a nature lover’s paradise whose most memorable feature is Liberty Bridge (seen above), which become an iconic part of Greenville. Check out the website or this Google Map.

Children’s Museum of the Upstate

We love this place! It’s a museum designed for kids 12 and under! They have activities and special events designed to be sensory friendly and educational. It’s a must-stop-by for fun and for professional curiosity. Check out the website or this Google Map.

Donut Experiment

Fun for kids and adults alike, the Donut Experiment starts with a delicious, fresh-made doughnut … and then you choose your own icing and toppings. Yum! Check out the website or this Google Map.

Greenville Zoo

The Greenville Zoo encourages visitors to “Go Wild!” You’ll love the lions, tortoises, giant anteaters, orangutans and more. The zoo is a great place to spend a morning. Check out the website or this Google Map.

Swamp Rabbit Cafe and Trail

The Swamp Rabbit Trail is a 22-mile mixed use greenway system that makes it easy to get out and stretch your legs. Next to the trail off Hampton Avenue is the Swamp Rabbit Cafe and Grocery, a delicious place to enjoy craft coffee and espresso (if you haven’t guessed, we love coffee!), wood-fired pizza, local beer and more. Check out the website or this Google Map.
